I'm surprising my son and daughter with a trip to disney for their 13th & 11th birthdays. This is their first time. Is there anything special I should make sure they see/do while in Magic Kingdom? I've been before, but they havent.

    Hi Tracy!

I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort, and there is nowhere more magical than Magic Kingdom Park!  When you arrive, make sure to ask a Cast Member where you can get birthday celebration buttons.  Sometimes, magical things happen for princes and princesses wearing these buttons!

I highly recommend having a birthday meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant.  It is so amazing to be able to dine in the Beast's enchanted castle, and the food is superb!  While you're there, you can even have a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake delivered right to your table!

One of my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom Park is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.  It is exciting enough to keep the thrill seekers satisfied, but not too fast for guests that don't enjoy roller coasters.

Also, check out Memory Maker.  You can make it a game to find Disney PhotoPass Photographers throughout the park, take some super awesome family photos, and then download all of them for one price.  Don't forget to ask if there are any Magic Shots available!

Last, but certainly not least, check out all of the special offerings like dessert parties in the Enchanting Extras Collection!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
