I'm sure I have read somewhere that with a Dining Plan you can use credits to get a packed lunch to take with you if you are visiting places outside of Disney? Is this true and how would you do it?

    Hi Nichola!

If you purchase the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) you can use it to purchase food items in the resort gift shops and quick service locations, and you can piece together your own packed lunch. However, I'm not aware of an official program in which you can redeem credits from the DDP to exchange for a prepared bagged lunch.

You can easily do this yourself though, as you can use a Quick Service (QS) from the DDP to obtain a drink, sandwich and dessert from your resort dining location, and then bring it with you to your daily destination.

Review the Disney Dining Plan FAQ for more information.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
