I am happy to share that Guests staying at any
Disneyland Resort hotel (including the
Villas at the Disneyland Hotel) who also have a valid theme park ticket and park reservation may use the
Grand Californian Hotel entrance into Disney California Adventure (DCA). If you are using this entrance, be sure to bring your hotel room key as Cast Members may request proof of your hotel stay to use this entrance. This is especially important during the hour before and after park opening.
Typically, the Grand Californian security checkpoint for the DCA entrance opens around 7:00 a.m. each day. Operating times can occasionally vary based on special events, so I recommend checking the
Daily Events Schedule on the Disneyland website to see if any changes will affect your visit.
Since you're staying at the Villas, this entrance can be a fantastic convenience. Not only does it place you just steps away from Disney California Adventure, but it can also make for a smoother start to your morning. Whether you're heading straight for Radiator Springs Racers, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, or my family's favorite morning adrenaline rush, the Incredicoaster, having a shorter walk into the park is a wonderful perk.
