Fatme,
Thanks so much for sending your question to planDisney!
On our family trip last Spring Break, my eldest daughter and I decided to break away from our family pool day to go to lunch at
Sanaa, and to view all the different animals surrounding
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. We loved it, and I am sure you will as well!
The Animal Kingdom Lodge relies upon bus service for all of its Disney transportation needs. Technically the recommended route is to take a bus from your All Star Resort hotel to
Disney Springs, where you then transfer to a bus headed to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you do this, you will have a 25-minute bus route to Disney Springs, followed by a 20-minute bus route from there to the Lodge. You would also want to plan for time to wait for the buses for each of these routes, up to 20 minutes each time. All told, I would plan at least an hour to an hour and a half for the whole trip.
But dependent upon your reservation time, I might have a faster route. If your reservation falls during normal operating park hours for the
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you could take a shorter bus route from your hotel to the Animal Kingdom Park, followed by a bus from there to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. These two routes are more like 20 and 10 minutes each, so you are likely saving yourself at least 15 minutes on your overall trip, likely more.
BONUS TIPIf you order nothing else, try the Indian-style Bread Service at Sanaa. It is stupendous!
