hi! i'm staying at the Port Orleans french quarter and i was wondering if you are supposed to tip the wait staff at the end of your stay? i know its not required, but what is the going rate for a nice tip?

Hi Cheyanne!  (Great name, by the way!)  The Port Orleans French Quarter is a wonderful resort full of Louisiana Charm, and my kids absolutely loved the slides!  In my own experience, the service staff has always gone above an beyond our expectations, so we always left a nice tip.  What I have noticed is that cast members will alternate for the duration of your stay, so you may not always have the same person servicing your room.  Some recommend leaving small envelopes everyday to thank whomever might be tidying that particular day, which a tip that I employ.  We usually leave between $1 to $2 per person per day.  However, it is a personal decision, and you should tip whatever you are comfortable with.

I hope this helps and thank you for stopping by.  Please feel free to ask us again!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
