I’m going to be staying at pop century and would like to rope drop magic kingdom, am I allowed to take an Uber to the Polynesian and walk to the ttc even though the Polynesian isn’t open? I don’t want to take the bus

Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney and I can happily help with your curiouser and curiouser inquiry. The old adage, the early bird gets the worm, runs so true when gearing up for a day at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

Rope-drop is serious business, especially when it comes to planning your day around conquering and riding all the popular attractions. Guests are able to accomplish more in a shorter amount of time when arriving early but I have a feeling you already know this. And while Walt Disney World offers a variety of complimentary transportation services some Guests prefer self-parking, ride-sharing or taxis. Guests wishing to utilize a ride-share or taxi service, to Magic Kingdom, will be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Thus, there is no need to travel next door to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Your arrival date is just around the corner and sometimes last-minute questions might arrive and if so we are ready to help. In the meantime follow the Disney Parks Blog for up-to-date news and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) for more Disney Magic. We are excited you are Returning to a World of Magic and may it be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
