I’m staying at POFQ again next year and want to know if the Minnie vans service this resort and do the and the Mears Vans have lifts for a scooter? Thank you

    Hey there, Christina Helen!

One of the most comfortable ways to get around Walt Disney World is the positively adorable, absolutely whimsical Minnie Van Service. I'm so happy to be able to tell you that this service is now available at all of the Walt Disney World resort hotels, including your resort, Port Orleans French Quarter.

I know you have asked about Mears, but there are Minnie Vans that can accommodate a scooter. These ADA-accessible Minnie vans will accommodate a maximum of four guests, including the guest that will be on the scooter.

You can use the Minnie Van service by downloading the Lyft app on your smartphone. In my experience,we've never waited longer than 15 minutes for a Minnie Van, and the drivers have all been super friendly. We've had such great experiences with this service, my daughter uses it as her primary means to get around the resort area.

As for Mears vans, they do have accessible vans. You will just need to let them know that you'll need one when you use their service.

    Happy travels, Christina Helen!
