I'm staying at one resort the first night then going to all star movies for the rest of the week ,we wanted to be at mk 30 min brfore they open so my ? is how do I check into the resort that morning and be at mk early?

    Hi Cindy,

Our family often resort hops during our Disney vacations, moving from one resort to another.

You will have a couple of options the morning that you are changing resorts. Guests are able to check in to their resort as early as they would like. The room will most likely not be available at that time of the day, but you are welcome to verify any information needed, obtain park passes and leave your bags before heading out to Magic Kingdom. Feel free to arrive at the All Star Movies as early as you would like and then head out to the park.

If you are staying at a Disney resort the first night, and do not need to check in to the All Star Movies to obtain park tickets, your next option would be to head directly to Magic Kingdom that morning and check in later in the day. You can request that your bags be moved from one resort to the other and they will handle that for you. Just be aware that the bags are not usually moved until later in the afternoon, so if you need anything before late afternoon you should take it with you. Once you are ready to leave Magic Kingdom, just head over to your new resort and check-in.

Hope this helps get you on your way nice and early!
