I'm staying off the resort but can I still use the monorail & boat tours? Where Is the outside movie and is it available to us as non resort people? What other fun things on the resorts are available to us? (The hidden treasures!)

    Tammy,

I think you will find that you can do most any of these things, even though you are not staying at a Disney resort. Riding the monorail, renting boats from the resort marinas, and many other activities are as available to you as a resort guest.

As for the outdoor movie nights at the resorts, that is an activity that is intended for resort guests. While in many of the resorts there is nothing stopping you, they are typically held adjacent to the resort pool, which is definitely for resort guests only, and in a few recent cases are in gated areas that require a valid room key for entry.

What I recommend to you is to definitely explore the resorts. They encourage that, and it is a fun way to see more of the Disney magic outside the parks. If you hear of another specific activity, don't hesitate to ask the front desk if you can attend. No harm done!

One great no-charge suggestion: Go to the BoardWalk. The evening entertainment is for all to enjoy. The atmosphere is fun and family-appropriate. There is no charge, and you don't have to be a resort guest!

Write me back with questions on what you would like to discover, and I can get you some more ideas!

    Have a magical vacation!
