I'm staying off resort at a GNH and am booking character meals. If I book at a resort like Chef Mickey's vs in the park, how do I get to the restaurant from the park?

    Hi Beth,

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your upcoming vacation!

Chef Mickey's is one of my family's very favorite restaurants!  Does it get any better than having a delicious and fun meal with Chef Mickey Mouse and his pals?  I don't think so!

Chef Mickey's is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort and can be easily accessed from any park.  If you're coming from Magic Kingdom Park, it's just a short monorail ride away.  If you're coming from Epcot, you may take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then transfer monorails, boarding the Resort Hotels line which will take you to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  From either Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, look for the bus located just outside the park entrance that will take you directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Please be sure to allow plenty of time (up to 1.5 hours) to get there when traveling between locations.

Short-term parking at a Disney resort hotel is complimentary for guests with dining reservations, so if you have your own car, that is always an option, too.

Definitely save room for the amazing sundae bar and enjoy some napkin swinging fun!
