    I'm going to be staying in the Holiday Inn in the Downtown Disney area, is this close enough to DTD shops to walk there safely? How far will I have to go to catch the shuttles into the parks?

    Hi Kia! Downtown Disney is such a fun area! When I've stayed in hotels in that area, I have been able to walk to the shops fairly easily. While I haven't stayed at the newly refurbished Holiday Inn, my understanding is that it is a five-minute walk from Downtown Disney and all of the walk is on sidewalks. You'll be able to easily visit the shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney! 

    With regard to shuttles to the parks, the Holiday Inn website indicates that the hotel provides complimentary shuttles to the Disney parks. Disney buses do not run from Downtown Disney to the theme parks so you'll have to rely on your hotel shuttle to transport you to the parks.
