I'm staying at a Downtown Disney hotel and booked a character breakfast (Chef Mickey's). What time do the buses leave at DDisney and go to MK? I've got a $7:50 reservation and not sure if I'll make my reservation. The hotel buses doesn't leave until later.

    Hi Laura,

Advance Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's sounds like a practically perfect way to begin your morning at Walt Disney World.

Just so I am clear I believe you are staying off-property in the Downtown Disney area. Chef Mickey's is located in Disney's Contemporary Resort not Magic Kingdom, so you would need to catch a bus to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Buses, usually, begin running an hour before the parks open and I believe Downtown Disney opens at 8:30am, you will need to double check that for the day of your Advance Dining Reservation. This means you would need to be to the bus stop around 7:15am but to be honest I think you will be cutting it close. If it were me, I would take a taxi from your hotel to  Disney Contemporary Resort. A taxi would be at a minimal cost and I am sure someone at your resort could give you a better idea of how much.

I hope your stay is memorable and magical and let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
