Hiya George!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for submitting your question to us! I'm sorry you haven't been able to book anything at
Goofy's Kitchen for your visit yet. That's exciting that you're getting to stay at
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, though! The rooms there look absolutely fabulous and so much fun!
The Disney Parks Blog has revealed that
Storytellers Cafe and Goofy's Kitchen would be participating in a special seasonal menu to celebrate Fall and add a special Halloween twist! And unfortunately Chef Goofy does like to take his time when coming up with his new menu ideas. While he's building this new menu, dining reservations will sometimes lag behind even into the 60 day reservation window. I suspect that, once it's announced, reservations will finally open and they'll go pretty fast. I'd recommend checking back frequently and following the
Disney Parks Blog so you can catch this update as soon as it's released.
You'll be visiting right as
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort kicks off! It's my favorite time of year to visit and I love all the Fall decorations and special treats throughout the Resort. I'm really excited to be able to experience
Haunted Mansion Holiday again and watch the
Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular.
Fun Fact: You'll be staying at the all new Discovery Tower. The Disneyland Hotel's original three Towers were named Marina, Sierra, and Bonita Towers. After a massive construction project that involved building Disney California Adventure and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in 1999, many of the old Disneyland Hotel structures were demolished. I really love the display that memorializes this history in the Fantasy Tower.
George, I wish you luck in booking that reservation! Please reach out to us if you need anything else. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to hear from you again! We'll see ya real soon!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
