    Hi if I’m staying at a Disney world resort that does not have charcoal grills am I allowed to use grills at another resort (like by the contemporary barbecue pavilion) like the other amenities that can be enjoyed by anyone saying on property? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alison!

    I am so happy to hear that you are taking advantage of all of the great benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel!  I find there is always an extra bit of pixie dust when you wake up just minutes away from The Most Magical Place on Earth and can have Mickey Mouse and his pals tuck you in each night with a bedtime story right on your resort room television.

    You are welcome to enjoy all of the amenities at your own Walt Disney World Resort hotel during your visit, including any public grills, if available.  The charcoal grills at Disney's Contemporary Resort are available only to registered guests of that resort.  If grilling is an important tradition during your getaways, you can look to move your reservation to a resort that does offer this amenity including Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, as well as Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

    You can also let Chef Mickey do the grilling and make a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort restaurant.  Two of my favorite places for some outstanding barbeque options are Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney's Animal Kingdom and The Polite Pig at Disney Springs.
