I'm staying at Disney World for 6 nights with hubby and3 grandkids. Their parents are driving the kids down and we bought them a one day park ticket. How do we reserve Magic Kingdom for the day they arrive?

Hi Cheryl and welcome to planDisney! I’m so very happy to know that you are busy planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your grandchildren! You are going to have a wonderful time at the Magic Kingdom Park!

The first thing you should do, is get your party’s tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account. If you don’t have an account, no problem! With a few quick clicks you can create one and get your planning started!

Once you find yourself logged on to your My Disney Experience account, you will see a task bar along the top of your screen. It’s kind of like a to-do list. Click on the circle that says “Park Tickets” to link your grandchildren’s tickets (and your park tickets) to your account.

Once you’ve done that, click on “Family & Friends” to add the guests in your party. You can enter their name and age and they will be added to your party. Make sure to link a park ticket to every guest who will be visiting the parks with you. Then you can click on Disney Park Pass Reservations, select the date and the theme park you would like to visit on the calendar, and you will be good to go!

Cheryl, make sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the coming months to learn about the fun activities you can enjoy during your next visit. There are always delicious new snacks popping up at the Magic Kingdom Park! I always look forward to trying them!

I hope I’ve been helpful. Please don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you need some more planning help. It’s our pleasure to share our tips with you!

    Have a magical visit!
