I'm staying at a Disney resort for 7 days on this trip! I'm thinking of buying a ticket for 4 parks. Can I upgrade the ticket at the ticket office? I'd like to visit the park about 6 times.

    Hi Jisoo,

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have an exciting trip coming up, with several days to spend exploring the magic of all four Disney World theme parks. Luckily, there is flexibility to upgrade your tickets while you are at Disney World if you decide you are having so much fun that you want to add more days.

When you purchase your theme park tickets, you will choose a ticket start date, the number of days you plan to spend in the theme parks, and whether you want the Park Hopper Option. The Park Hopper Option is one of my favorite upgrades to purchase for my Disney World tickets because it allows you to visit more than one theme park each day. You can start your day at Magic Kingdom and end it by eating a fabulous dinner in Japan at EPCOT! If you haven't already purchased your tickets, make sure to include as many days as you want to enjoy so you get the best deal available upfront.

If you have already purchased your tickets and decide to upgrade them during your trip, you have a few options. The easiest way to upgrade Disney World tickets is directly in the My Disney Experience app. All you have to do is click the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner of your app and navigate to "My Tickets & Passes." Scroll until you see the ticket you wish to upgrade, and select "Upgrade Pass" underneath that ticket. Follow the prompts to check out and pay the increased cost of adding days or the Park Hopper Option.

If you want help making the change, you can visit Guest Services right inside the entrance to each theme park or call Existing Tickets. A friendly cast member will help you make the needed changes and get you on your way to more magic. Keep in mind that changes to tickets can only be made if the ticket has not been redeemed in full. Make sure all upgrades are made before you redeem your last day to ensure you only pay the difference in the ticket price instead of having to buy a whole new ticket.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
