Hey there, Christopher! Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask your questions about your April visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Since you have a resort reservation, you can begin making your dining reservations online at MyDisneyExperience or on the
MyDisneyExperience mobile app 60 days before you arrive. This includes your days when you will not be in a theme park as well.
I am an expert on the Walt Disney World resort restaurants! Let me tell you about some of my favorites.
Olivia’s Café at Disney’s Old Key West Resort – ANY meal, any time, I have never been disappointed. I love the Olivia’s breakfast and the banana bread French toast, plus this restaurant is one of the most affordable restaurants on property. The Caesar salad with shrimp is always fresh, and I’ve never heard a complaint about the Prime Rib for dinner.
Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House – the BEST breakfast buffet in all of Walt Disney World. (Yep, I said it!) SO many amazing choices, plus Passion Orange Guava (POG) juice, this restaurant is a must-do for our family.
Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – all-you-care-to-eat breakfast skillets, a bison burger for lunch that is to DIE for, and family skillets of meat for dinner, no one leaves here hungry. Plus, it’s a boat ride from Magic Kingdom and the resort is also gorgeous.
Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s Boardwalk – Italian food prepared in an open kitchen. This restaurant has fun breakfast (and other time) pizza. I love the Caprese salad, too.
Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort – a new favorite, the steak was delicious. I would not miss the chocolate cake for dessert.
Narcoosee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort – the BEST meal I have ever eat at Walt Disney World. Great food AND a view of Cinderella Castle? YES please! This one does have a dress code, so be aware.
I really could go on and on, but I hope this helps to give you some great ideas for your April vacation.
Happy Traveling (& eating!),
Tracy
