It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to
planDisney, Lisa. And now, we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as I proudly present, your answer. You’ve come to the right place with your question about the
Disney Dining Plan, my friend. It is one of my favorite topics to discuss and explore. My family has used Dining Plans many times during our Walt Disney World vacations, so I am happy to share my knowledge and experience with you.
The
Disney Dining Plan is an excellent way to budget for your meals before you arrive in
Walt Disney World. I also find that it helps me plan, as I know I will have one table-service meal, one quick-service meal, and one snack per person per night of our stay. So, if your stay is six nights, you will have six table-service meals, six quick-service meals, and six snacks per person per night of stay. You can use your Dining Plan meals any way you would like. Sometimes, my family will use a table-service meal for a late breakfast/early lunch, and then we can get away with just eating snacks for the rest of the day. We use the saved quick-service meals for check-out day. You can get creative with ways to stretch those six quick-service and six table-service meals for the full seven days you are there. Your meals will be available to you starting the day you check into your Disney Resort hotel, and they don’t expire until midnight on your check-out day.
You can start making
advance dining reservations as early as 60 days before your check-in date. You will be able to make dining reservations for the length of your six-night stay. You’ll want to scoop up
dining reservations for those table-service meals. If you prefer to live in the moment, no worries; I have found plenty of dining reservations available the day prior and even on the same day. With all the
incredible restaurants in the Disney theme parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resort hotels, you are sure to enjoy some extraordinary meals.
I hope you have a magical visit to
Walt Disney World and a fabulous time dining with your
Disney Dining Plan. Why, we only live to serve here at
planDisney. If we can answer any more of your questions, please Be Our Guest!
