Hi Alexis! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question!
Oh boy! Less than two months before you arrive for your magical
Walt Disney World vacation. The holiday season is one of the best times of the year to visit. Many of the Disney Resorts hotels will have already begun putting up festive décor to celebrate this time of year!
I stayed at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort over the summer and was placed in the Aruba section of the resort. This area neighbors the Jamaica section, where I noticed certain buildings being closed off to Guests. I am happy to report that I did not hear any loud construction noise from our room or while walking around. The areas that were blocked off also did not impede our walk to the
Disney Skyliner station or force us to take a detour. It simply did not allow you to access a section of the rooms. While I haven't seen any announcements relating to this work, I suspect that they may be working their way around the resort if some light refreshments are coming to the rooms.
What has been announced is the closure of the
Fuentes del Morro Pool for routine maintenance to start the new year. It's scheduled to reopen in late March 2024. With your visit upcoming at the end of November, this closure will not impact your stay. The Trinidad section of the resort recently underwent a major retheming. The pirate-themed rooms are now modeled and inspired after The Little Mermaid. The rooms are now brighter, more functional, and are equipped with a 5th-sleeper option for families that need the extra space.
Alexis, I cannot emphasize enough how much I love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The tropical vibes and relaxing atmosphere truly make it a wonderful place to stay. It's a great place to return after a busy park day and the perfect resort to spend time outside of the parks!
Have a magical day! See ya real soon!
