Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Connie!
Being at a
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park as soon as it opens is definitely a great way to maximize your time in the Parks and to potentially enjoy some of the most popular attractions with lower wait times. Since I’m not sure of your arrival date or if there’s a particular Theme Park you’re thinking of, I’ll offer some general suggestions for you.
One thing to consider may be making a pre-Park-opening
breakfast reservation. Some restaurants such as
The Crystal Palace or
Be Our Guest Restaurant at
Magic Kingdom Park open up to an hour before the
Park officially opens for the day. While I have not taken advantage of this opportunity, I know many people who have used that as a strategy to enter the Parks before the general crowd arrives. Keep in mind, though, that none of the rides or attractions will begin operation until that official opening time.
Another way to maximize your mornings at Walt Disney World Resort is to take advantage of
Extra Magic Hours. One of the best benefits of being a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest, the Extra Magic Hours allow you to enjoy the Parks an hour before they open or up to two hours after they close to the general public. If you’re arriving this Fall, you may also be able to take advantage of
extra, Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
And if you want even more early morning fun, check out the Early Morning Magic options for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Offered on select mornings, Early Morning Magic is a separately ticketed event that allows Guests to experience some of the most popular attractions in
Fantasyland and
Toy Story Land. And breakfast is included, too!
Hopefully one or more of these options will work for you and your family, Connie! Enjoy your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you.
