I'm staying at Bay Lake Tower in a Deluxe Studio with my 22 month old and was wondering if the pack 'n play will fit in the kitchenette. I'm just trying to figure out how I can put the baby to bed and still stay awake a little longer.

    Welcome Home Kristin!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are staying at the perfect Resort Hotel for the littles! I love that you can walk back and forth to Magic Kingdom Park in less than five minutes. Being able to return to the hotel for nap-time or a snack quickly makes a Disney vacation so much easier!

We’ve stayed at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort with the twins in cribs, and yes, a crib will fit in the kitchenette. We put the other Pack ’n Play in the room in front of the sofa. Full disclosure - when we stayed, they gave us a portable crib and a Pack ’n Play. We didn’t try the Pack ’n Play in the kitchenette, but they appeared to have pretty similar widths.

In terms of cribs, you can request one at arrival or call the hotel before your stay to add it to your reservation. The cribs come with a fitted sheet, but we would often bring a sheet from home for the “just in case” in the middle of the night!

When my babes were little, our favorite attraction was Dumbo the Flying Elephant. The best thing about the attraction? The air-conditioned playpark inside of the big tent while you wait in line! Your babe can play while you wait with a buzzer. When your spot is coming up, they will buzz you. It’s a brilliant idea and so much fun for the littles!

When you are visiting the Parks with your kiddo, make sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers. They are a delightful place to take a break, eat a snack, or change a diaper.

    Kristin, have a MAGICAL vacation!
