Hiya, Lachlan! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! It sounds like you're making plans to visit
Walt Disney World Resort soon! I'd love to help make sure that you know some of the transportation options available to you when traveling around The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I believe you're asking about the best way to get to the theme parks when staying as an off-site Guest. Lachlan, my best piece of advice would be to use a rideshare or taxi service to pick you up and drop you off near the park you'd like to visit that day. However, if it's a day when you're visiting
Magic Kingdom Park, you'd want to get dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take a monorail to Magic Kingdom Park. If you're looking to travel from one park to another, you could even look into the
Minnie Van service! These options will help you to get to the parks quickly and efficiently so you won't have to miss a minute of the magic.
For buses leaving a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and heading to the parks, I've found that the
Walt Disney World Bus Service begins running about 45 minutes before park opening. However, please remember that only Guests of that Disney Resort hotel (or Guests with an
advance dining reservation at that resort) will be able to park at the resort. Unfortunately, as an off-site Guest, you will not be permitted to be dropped off at a Disney Resort hotel in order to use their transportation.
As you're putting the details on your trip to Walt Disney World Resort, be sure that you've made your theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip.
If you have any other questions, or if I've misunderstood your question, please visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
