Hi! I'm starting my research for a future WDW trip. Our party is 3 adults, and 2 kids - 5 and 3. Which resorts offer rooms for 5 sleepers? Would it be the same cost to book 2 adjoining rooms, if so which resorts should we look at? Thanks!

    Hello there, Aleksandra!

I am thrilled you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel while starting your research; we love helping Guests plan the most magical vacations!

Nothing is more exciting than a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort with family. My kiddos are around the same ages as the Mouseketeers in your party, and seeing the magic through their eyes is my very favorite part while visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth!

I adore staying at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. They have so much to offer, and even when you leave the Theme Parks to come back to the resorts, you’re never leaving the magic because each resort hotel has brilliant and unique theming! You have some really fantastic options for your party of 5!

First and foremost, the Walt Disney World Resort hotels that offer a 5th sleeper are Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Although prices are always subject to change, I have found these rooms more affordable than getting two adjoining rooms. I would encourage you to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for price comparisons and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you!

I’ve stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside recently with my Mouseketeers, and fell in love with it. It has gorgeous grounds, with beautiful pathways and gardens. I love the massive bridge that leads from the Resort lobby to the buildings of the rooms! You can take the Walt Disney World Water Transportation to go next-door to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and enjoy some delicious Mickey shaped beignets!

Another great and affordable option for you might be to consider the family suites offered at the Value Resorts! If you’re wanting a suite, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are wonderful.

Disney’s Art of Animation is such a fun-filled Walt Disney World Resort hotel! You will see various scenes from Disney animated movies, and the kiddos love it! You will be “wheely” impressed by the Cars Family Suites! The family suites in the Cars, Lion King, and Finding Nemo sections have kitchenettes that include a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. This Resort hotel now offers transportation to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios by taking the Disney Skyliner. I love having the additional transportation option!

Aleksandra, I hope you have the most enchanting time!
