    I'm sorry this will be a silly question but is Disney Hollywood studios in Florida? or am I right to assume it is in California

    Hi Kim,
    Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! No question is silly and we love that you stopped by to visit us.

    Disney's Hollywood Studios is a theme park located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. I've got to mention that with all the exciting news coming out of both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort in California, especially regarding Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening on both coasts, it's pretty easy to get a little confused.

    The Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge here in Florida officially opens in just a few more days, on August 29, 2019.  The Galaxy's Edge location in California has been open since the end of May of this year.
