Hi Brigit! I am SO glad you came to planDisney to ask your question! I had so much fun researching the answer. I am not a big drinker, and I found some new things that I will be trying on my next trip to Walt Disney World, too.
Since we are planning to “drink around the World”, you are getting my suggestions in order, starting with Mexico.
Located outside the Mexico pavilion, you can order a Conga (Mexican fruit punch made with Orange, Pineapple, & Lemon Juice) at Choza de Margarita. I think it sounds delightful!
Inside the pyramid of Mexico, I have heard you can get a non-alcoholic tequila at La Cava. While this isn’t officially on the menu, it might be worth asking. If it is available, definitely try the La Cava Avocado. I also just learned about the “secret menu” here. Apparently, there is a drink called the Spicy Mentirosa, which has Lyre’s Italian Orange, Non-Alcoholic Lyre’s Dry London, Lime Juice, Cucumber & Jalapeno Juice, Agave Nectar, and a salt rim. Sounds delicious! Also, the chips and guacamole are a great addition.
Finally, back outside in Mexico is
La Cantina de San Angel. You can try the La Cantina Slushy or a Jarritos – Traditional Mexican Soda (Pineapple, Mango, or Fruit Punch).
Our next stop is Norway, where you can try the Frozen Coffee (Frozen Coffee with Coffee-Chocolate Sauce and garnished with Coffee-Chocolate Crunch) at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. There are also some lovely pastries here. This is a very sweet drink, so be aware.
At
Lotus Blossom Café in China, you can try Lychee-flavored Iced Black Tea & Chinese Oolong Hot Tea. I am definitely adding this iced tea to my list! Yum!
Between China and Germany, you’ll find the Refreshment Outpost, which features Frozen Coca Cola Slushy, Frozen Minute Maid Lemonade Slushy, and Ice Cream Floats.
Next, onward to Italy! The
Gelateria Toscana features Limonata (Lemon Sparkling Italian Soda), Aranciata (Orange Sparkling Italian Soda), and Peach Tea.
Once you reach the America Pavilion, you’ll find Berry Punch (White grape juice with Strawberry, Peach, and Blackberry) at Regal Eagle, or The American Dream (Frozen Fanta Strawberry, Vanilla Ice Cream, & Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry Slushy) at Fife & Drum Tavern.
The
Joy of Tea in Japan is the next stop. With a choice of Bubble Milk Tea (Peach Black Tea with Boba), Honey Hibiscus Iced Tea (Organic Tea and Blueberry Boba), or Jasmine Tea, I might have trouble deciding which one I want.
You can try Frozen Mint Tea or a Frozen Citrus-Pomegranate Slushy in Morocco at
Oasis Sweets & Sips. If you can find Hummus Fries at one of the stands here, they are delicious (a little spicy).
Finally, at Les Halles Boulangarie-Patisserie in France, you can get ALL the coffee drinks: Espressos, Lattes, Cappuccinos, Cafes. They also have the BEST pastries here!
It is entirely possible that actual bars have non-alcoholic options that are not listed on their menus. It is always worth the ask, you could wind up with the best drink you’ve ever had!
Good luck “drinking around the world”,
Tracy
