    Hi!!! I'm a single mom for a two year old..... I wanted to plan our first vacation to go to Disney. Is it o early for me to take her over to Disney??? Also, what would be the best suggestions for meals for her??

    Hi, Christie!  I think it's never too early to go on a Walt Disney World vacation, and I think two is an awesome age!  First of all, at two, everything is still pretty much FREE!  Admission for children under the age of three is free, and a child of this age can eat from your plate at any of the restaurants - including the buffets - at no additional cost. 



    Two is also a great age for discovering things.  As she toddles around, she'll probably show you things at the theme parks that you might not have otherwise seen. Make sure you slow down and let her stop and smell the roses - running through the fountains, watching street performers, etc. 



    As for meals, even though I have daughters that were a little afraid of the characters, I always took them to character meals.  I've got photos of my kids with Tigger and Mickey, where the characters are standing and posing behind them, so the kids weren't scared and I have awesome pictures!  I like Crystal Palace for the Pooh and Friends interaction (characters are subject to change), and I love the Akershus Storybook Meals at EPCOT, where your little princess can meet some of the Disney princesses!  Chef Mickey's is also great fun for kids (and adults!) of all ages.  If you're looking for a more grown up meal that you would appreciate, check out Sanaa in Kidani Village at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You may be able to get  table that gives you a view of the animals out on the savanna, so you'll enjoy a more adult, sit down meal, and your daughter may get to see some animals.
