Hi Marlyce!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm the product of a single momma, and some of my favorite childhood memories are the fun vacations we took together. My first trip to
The Mouse was with my mom to Disneyland. The magic we experienced then led me to my job today. I know you are going to make Magical memories with your boys!
With your family of three, you have plenty of options for attractions. There are a few rides that are two-seaters, and we tend to use
Rider Switch for those. But since it sounds like you will be the only adult with the kiddos, that might not work this time around. Barnstormer, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, and Slinky Dog Dash come to mind as limited for your crew. In general, though, with
your littles, you will be limited by
height restrictions more than anything else.
But, you will be pleasantly surprised that most of the attractions at Walt Disney World
don't have height requirements and are practically perfect for every age! My kiddos love all of the attractions in Magic Kingdom Park, and we always take a spin on Peter Pan's Flight. My four-year-old twins insist on blasting to infinity and beyond at
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and singing "
Yo Ho! Yo Ho!" on Pirates of the Caribbean!
Since everyone meets the height requirement for Soarin' Around the World, expect to sit son-mom-son. You will have the same setup on Avatar Flight of Passage. Haunted Mansion,
DINOSAUR, Frozen Ever After, and "it's a small world" all seat everyone on the same bench. The whole family can also sit together on
The Seas with Nemo & Friends and
Star Tours - The Adventures Continue. Kilimanjaro Safaris is our top choice each trip, but good luck with the ensuing debate as to who gets the "window" seat!
Even though y' all might have to skip Slinky Dog Dash,
Toy Story Land is so.much.fun for all ages and sizes! Your boys will love marching to the beat of their own drums with the Green Army Drum Corps on the way to Alien Swirling Saucers. Afterward, take a break at Woody's Lunchbox. To make lunch even more convenient, use the
My Disney Experience app to
mobile order ahead. I highly recommend the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich and the Chocolate -Hazelnut Lunch Box Tart (it's got bacon!).
Marlyce, you've got this! I know you, and the boys are going to have a toy-riffic time!
