Hi, I’m sailing out of the Port of Miami in Sept. Are there EV charging stations at the Disney Cruise Terminal? Thank you

    Ahoy there, Karen,

Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for bringing your Disney Cruise Line vacation planning question to us here, where we are all aboard with helping you make the most of your cruise!

How exciting that you will be sailing on the Disney Magic for a 5-night Bahamian cruise with not one, but two stops at Disney Castaway Cay! That sounds like a perfect itinerary for a relaxing vacation. One of the best ways to explore the island, and one of my top tips, is to purchase the Castaway Cay Getaway Package (C05). This port adventure includes snorkel equipment for the day, a float or inner-tube rental for the day, and a bicycle rental for one hour. You can explore the crystal clear 20-acre snorkel lagoon located at Family Beach, take a ride around the island (be sure to make a stop at the Observation Tower for a spectacular view), and then relax while floating above the tranquil water. And the best part is that you can do all of this on your own schedule. If you desire a little more adventure, you can opt for the Extreme Getaway Package (C18) which includes Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure. You will enjoy getting up close and personal with friendly stingrays in the Stingray Lagoon!

Now, back to your question! Since the Disney Cruise Line terminal parking is operated by Port Miami, you will need to contact them to receive confirmation regarding if and where electric vehicle charging may be available. For your reference when you contact them, Disney Cruise Line is scheduled to berth at Terminal C at Port Miami and Parking Garage C is located near Terminal C. One idea to consider, if EV charging is not available in Parking Garage C, inquire about charging stations in other terminal garages and if there are shuttles that will transport you to the Disney Cruise Line terminal. This may take a little extra time but will be worth the peace of mind knowing your vehicle will be ready to go when you disembark at the end of your cruise.

I hope this information has been helpful, Karen. If you have any other questions or would like more tips for enjoying your pixie-dusted vacation aboard the Disney Magic, please cruise back by and let us know!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
