I'm running the Disney Princess Half and my husband and 8 year old daughter will travel with me. Is there a section where they can greet me? Do they need a ticket?

    Hi Sandra!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How exciting for you to have your husband and daughter waiting at the finish line to congratulate you on your wonderful accomplishment!

They will have a couple different opportunities to catch 'Mom' on the course breaking in her glass slippers! My favorite point in the race is traveling up Main Street USA and approaching Cinderella Castle. If your family would like, they can enter Magic Kingdom while the race is going on without a ticket to chEAR you on! At the finish line, there are also a variety of spots where they can catch your last mile. Post-race there will be a designated area for runners to meet up with their families, usually designated by the alphabet. My family has always chose our last name initial to make it easy to remember! The spectators tab provides more information for them if needed.

While it's not a necessity, your family may also want to check out the ChEAR Squad Packages. In addition to complimentary hot and cold beverages, a private restroom and some awesome Disney swag, they'll have reserved viewing locations at both Magic Kingdom and outside Epcot near the finish line.

I hope you have a magical race and please let me know if you have any other questions before your trip!
