If I’m 17 right now can I book a hotel with my credit card but when I check in I’ll be 18 or do I need someone over 18 to book but then does that mean they have to be present at check-in?

    Hi there, Kaitlyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m excited to see you stopped by with a question!

First and foremost, three chEARs for your upcoming 18th birthday! Planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is the best way to celebrate any and every occasion.

For now, I understand you’re celebrating your very merry unbirthday, and what a coincidence, because so am I! Although you must be at least 18 to reserve a Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, and the lead Guest would need to check in at the resort, I would call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for your options. I spoke with a wonderful Cast Member and because every Guest's situation is unique, speaking with them would be the way to go.

Kaitlyn, I do hope when you visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, you treat yourself to all the Mickey shaped snacks! Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite; in fact, I tend to plan my trip around all the delectable cuisine I’ll be devouring!

I’m wishing you a Bibbidi Bobbidi 18th birthday, Kaitlyn! Hope you have a ball!
