I’m a FL resident wanting to go to Disney for the first time! However my girlfriend (who is 21) is Canadian. Can I buy her a FL resident discounted ticket? Or will I have to pay for a separate ticket for her? Please and thank you.

Hot Diggety Dog, Michael! I'm so excited about your first visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for updated information on some exciting happenings around the Resort.

Residents of the Sunshine State are entitled to some sweet Special Offers and Discounts. If you plan on coming for a few days, consider purchasing a Florida Resident Discover Disney 3-Day ticket (travel must be completed by June 30). However, since your girlfriend is not currently living in Florida, you would not be able to purchase a discounted ticket for her, since Guests have to provide proof of Florida residency before entering the theme parks with a discounted ticket.

Spring is a beautiful time to come check out the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Touring World Showcase while enjoying the delicious food and libations at the many outdoor kitchens, would be a fun date night. Of course, if you visit later in the fall, you can be in the Parks for the highly anticipated opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and be one of the first to ride on the Disney Skyliner.

We're happy you visited us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michael! Make sure to come back if we can help you again. See ya real soon!
