Hi there, Rochelle! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. We're happy you're here!
Like you, I'm so excited to see the
return of dining plans at Walt Disney World Resort! The only thing better than watching a parade in Magic Kingdom Park is watching a parade with a Mickey pretzel in hand. The dining plans are a great way to say yes to magical moments and yummy treats, giving you the most flexibility and fun during your trip!
Rochelle, when looking at the
restaurant options for the Disney Dining Plan, it doesn't currently have Geyser Point Bar & Grill listed. When I look at the
Geyser Point Bar & Grill page, there isn't an indication that this restaurant will likely be included once dining plans return on January 9, 2024. My best suggestion would be to keep an eye on the Disney Dining Plan page to stay up-to-date on all available options! If you're looking for an alternative to Geyser Point Bar & Grill, I'd suggest
Roaring Fork or
Capt. Cook's. When it comes to table service restaurants that will require one meal on the Disney Dining Plan, a few of my favorites are:
- 'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Make sure you save room for dessert!
- Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT. This restaurant offers delicious comfort food family-style, as well as a chance to say hello to some of your favorite characters!
- Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT. On my most recent trip, this was one meal that my friends and I could not stop raving about!
- Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I love the familiar favorites and the adventure samplings offered at this restaurant. Not only that, but you can't go wrong with seeing Donald Duck in his safari gear!
- Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom Park. If you love Jungle Cruise, you will love this restaurant.
- 50's Prime Time Café in Disney's Hollywood Studios. This will bring you back in time, giving you a retro flashback with comforting, nostalgic flavors!
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios. You'll find yourself in perhaps one of the most immersive restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort!
- Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs. Every single thing I've ever eaten here has been my favorite thing, ever.
While these are some of my favorite restaurants personally, the best restaurants for you are going to be the ones that speak to your heart (and tummy)! Feel free to write back and let us know if you're looking for fine dining, character meals, or something completely unique!
Happy feasting!
Michelle
