Greetings Lisa, welcome to planDisney!I am sure your granddaughter is thrilled to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort really soon! I am happy to share how purchasing tickets for others can be quick and easy. The great thing about digital tickets is there is nothing to pick up! You can purchase tickets for someone in a totally different state and they can still get their tickets in time for their visit. Everything is done electronically unless you're physically at the theme parks. Make sure your granddaughter's mother has a MyDisney account. If your granddaughter is over 13 she can also create her own account. They'll both need to download the Disneyland app. Once you've purchased their tickets through your MyDisney account, you'll just need to provide the ticket IDs to them to either a) type into their app or b) scan into their app. Here's a quick step-by-step:
I know that their visit is just a couple of days away, so hopefully this information helps with a seamless visit. Right now they can enjoy Pixar Fest, a celebration of friendship and beyond, that is happening at both theme parks! There's so much entertainment, lots of delicious food and beverages, and we can't forget the limited-time novelty items! I'm returning next week and am excited about the Pixar Fest Cake from Plaza Inn at Disneyland Park and checking out the "Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!" parade! Well, Lisa, I wish them a magical visit together making core memories! If any of you have more questions, feel free to send us another message!Adventure awaits!Camille
