Hi Nan, and welcome to planDisney! Five days at Disneyland will be such an amazing trip, especially with the
70th Celebration going on. So let’s get your questions answered!
When you buy or link your Disneyland ticket, you'll need to make
theme park reservations. This means choosing both the date and theme park you plan to visit for each of the five days. However, if your plans change, Hakuna Matata!
If you haven’t used the ticket yet, theme park tickets generally don’t expire until at least the end of the following year. When purchasing your ticket on the Disneyland website, you can confirm the expiration date in the fine print towards the bottom of the page.
After you scan into your first theme park, the remaining days on your ticket need to be used within 13 days.
To
change your dates, visit
My Theme Park Reservations on the Disneyland website. Choose Modify Reservation for the theme park reservation you’d like to change. You’ll be able to pick from all of the available dates on the calendar. If your new dates are more expensive, you’ll be prompted to pay the price difference.
As for the park hopper, you can upgrade your ticket when you get to Disneyland, subject to availability. Visit the Main Entrance Ticket Booth in the Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park and a Cast Member would be happy to help.
You’re going to be at Disneyland during an extra fun and spooktacular time! Besides everything happening for the 70th anniversary,
Halloween Time festivities begin August 22 with seasonal attraction overlays, a special nighttime spectacular, and Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween outfits. My favorite part is seeing Jack Skellington transform
Haunted Mansion into
Haunted Mansion Holiday!
I hope you have a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this summer! If you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
