I’m planning a weekend trip to Orlando to Celebrate my 3 years old birthday. He loves Toy Story and SuperHeroes. So that would take us to Hollywood Studios and Islands of Adventure but I’m afraid all the rides are too old for him. Thoughts?

    Greetings, fellow Floridian Ashley!

Don't you love living in the land of Superheros and Magic? We moved to Florida two yEARs ago, and besides the fantastic weather, our favorite thing about it is living so close to The Mouse! While I can't speak to the height restrictions at Universal Studios, I will be happy to tackle Toy Story Land for you!

My twin boys just turned five, and we've spent the past seven yEARs navigating the Parks with short-stacks! Let me reassure you, you and your son will have a fantastic time! There is no height requirement for Toy Story Mania!, all you need is excellent carnival skills! Alien Swirling Saucers' requirement is 32" (which I think he should be at or above with his age), and Slinky Dog Dash needs him to be 38". So, you should be good to go with at least 2/3!

No worries if he isn't able to ride Slinky Dog Dash! There are so many other exciting "Toy Story" things to do. My kiddos love finding their favorite friends (Jessie and Woody) to hug them, and the Green Army Patrol is a hoot! Also, guess who just showed up in the land?? Bo Peep from Toy Story 4 (my daughter loves her so much, she's going as Bo for Halloween)!!

Ashley, I know you and your boy are going to have the best time playing BIG in Toy Story Land. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back!
