Hi, Jessica!
Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
It can get really hot in August during a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. But I've visited when it was super hot in November! That's just a part of the Florida experience. That's why the resort is prepared to help you enjoy your visit even when it is hot.
Make sure your family is well hydrated even before you get into town. Drink extra water before and during the visit. If you bring your own water bottles, all
quick service restaurant will give you free ice water to refill those bottles during your days in the park. There are cooling stations, fans and all of the indoor attractions stores have wonderful air conditioning. And of course, if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, there are amazing pools to enjoy. I'm a big fan of taking a break at the peak of a hot day and visiting my resort pool to cool down. Your kids are at a perfect age to have fun in the parks and in the pools. Spending a day in one of
Disney's Water Parks may also be worth your time. Disney does water parks like no one else!
Let me know if I can answer any additional questions as you plan out this unforgettable visit to Disney World! Just drop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel anytime!
