Im planning to vist WDW on april 2013, with my 5 year old. Is this a good time to visit? What im mostly concerned is about waiting lines and crowd. Any suggestions?

Greetings, Yanira!  Welcome to the Mom's Panel!  How exciting that you are starting the planning process for your 2013 Walt Disney World Vacation!  I like to get an early start when planning our Disney Vacations as well!  I definitely think you are wise to consider crowds levels when choosing a date for your vacation. April can be a busy time of year to visit Walt Disney World as many schools have Spring Break holidays during the month of April. The unofficial website allears.net features a Historical Attendance Levels Chart and lists mid-March through late April as "highest attendance" and late April through early June (except for Memorial Day Weekend) as "moderate attendance."  If you have flexibility in choosing an exact week to visit, I would recommend going later in the month as most schools traditionally have Spring Break Holidays during the month of March and the first two weeks in April. I was at Walt DIsney World the last week of April and found the crowds to be minimal and the parks quite manageable. I hope this helps! Please feel free to write me back if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a Magical 2013 Trip, Yanira!
    Happy Planning,
