I'm planning on visiting the week of dec 8th 2019. I plan to go to animal kingdom on 12/10. the after hours show isnt until 12/14. do I have to pay park admission for both days

    Happy Holidays Lacie!

You are going to love visiting the Most Magical Place on EARth during the Most Wonderful Time of the yEAR! Walt Disney World Resort is alive with the sights, smells, and sounds of Christmas. It is my absolute favorite place during my most favorite month!

It sounds like you have a fantastic visit planned! In regards to your question, Disney After Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a separately ticketed event. So, you do not need a Theme Park ticket in addition to a ticket for the event. You get to enjoy three fantastic hours in the Park with a select number of Guests, so this means little-to-no wait times on select attractions, unique Character greetings, and delicious snacks! (Moms tip - you can enter the Park with your ticket a bit EARly at 7 p.m. so you can enjoy even more fun!)

You are going to LOVE Pandora - The World of Avatar at night! The bioluminescent grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Bonus - you might be able to ride my favorite attraction, Flight of Passage, multiple times! There are complimentary snack kiosks scattered throughout the Park, but if Satu’li Canteen is open, I would stop by and grab a Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse. We shared one a few weeks ago, and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to revel in the deliciousness!

Lacie, make sure to wish the Na’ vi Merry Christmas from me!
