I'm planning on visiting Hollywood Studios soon and was wondering if I could bring my own lightsaber into the park. It's not a Disney brand lightsaber, just one that I found on amazon...

    Hi, Amanda!
Thanks for checking in on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My son and daughter have visited Walt Disney World Resort with their own lightsaber and I know the Cast Members did not check to see if the sabers were officially Disney products. You just want to make sure the item meets the safety regulations of the parks. Right now, you cannot bring anything that looks at all like a weapon, including toy blasters and squirt guns. I also asked people I know who are in the parks this week and they say you should be okay with a lightsaber.

I hope you have a fabulous time enjoying all of the great Star Wars experiences at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I got a great picture with Chewbacca recently.

Let me know if you have any more questions leading up to your trip. I'm happy to help!
