Hi I'm planning to visit Disney world for the first time, on October 31st and I don't know which ticket gives me access to meet the characters and the attractions, I'm confused between Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Please help me.

Hi Josiane and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited to know that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time! Don’t worry! You still have plenty of time to sort out the details!

The Magic Kingdom Park is Walt Disney World Resort’s main theme park. It’s where you can find Cinderella Castle and where all the classic roller coaster attractions can be found. It’s also the park that will be hosting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on the day of your arrival!

Epcot gives you a taste of the future in Future World and you can explore the cultures of 11 different countries in the World Showcase. You can’t miss the emblematic Spaceship Earth as you’re entering the park and when you venture inside it, you travel in time to explore the history of communication!

Josiane, your theme park ticket is the only thing you need to give you access to all the characters and attractions. There are lots of opportunities to meet characters at all four of the theme parks. I encourage you to download the My Disney Experience app to your smartphone. By exploring the app, you will find that it serves as a map for the theme parks, it will give you park hours, it holds your ticket information and other important details of your visit if you’re a Disney Resort hotel guest. It will also give you wait times for attractions and character meet and greets!

Please come back to see us here or at Disney Parks Moms Panel en Español if you have any other questions! Helping you with the details of your magical visit is what we’re here for!
