Hi Damita,
There is nothing like a
Grand Adventure to make memories to last a lifetime. I've stayed at most of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but the one that made me squeal with glee is Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. The hotel is on the monorail line so you are only minutes away from the Magic Kingdom and with spectacular views of Bay Lake, you will be saying ahhhhh, the entire trip.
What's a girls trip without a little shopping? Downtown Disney has something for everyone. Spend the morning and early afternoon shopping for that perfect souvenir, and then end your outing on a genteel note with
Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a spooktacular evening with hoots, howls, screams, parades and fireworks. To add to the fun, dress up in your favorite Disney Halloween costume. You might like to dress as Cruella DeVille with your granddaughter as a dalmatian.
Fun dining you say? My vote always goes to
50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The waitresses make sure you eat your dinner, mind your manners and behave yourself. The menu is pretty good too, with classic comfort food that your Mom used to make.
Princess Fairytale Hall at the Magic Kingdom is where the Princesses greet their royal subjects and is a must do for a certain special eight year old.
Thanks for letting me be a part of planning your special trip. Have a magical time!
Leanne T.
