I'm planning a vacation with my twin one-year olds. They'll be going to bed earlier than us. Are there moderate hotels with balconies or some public area close enough to the rooms so that we can hang out while they sleep but still hear them if they cry?

    Hi Maricris,

The moderate resorts will not have balconies like the deluxe. However, if you ask to be near a quiet pool, you may hear your children as you sit by the pool. There really is no location that is indoors, because it does rain in Florida, that you would still be close enough to hear your children.

One option which might work is to go the cabins at Ft. Wilderness. Here you are able to go right outside to chat and enjoy some adult time while your daughters sleep.

Another option would be the family suites at All Star Music and the Art of Animation. This would allow you a separate bedroom as well as a kitchenette. Also, the studios at deluxe resorts would allow you a balcony and a kitchenette. Depending on when you travel, these could be affordable options as well.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
