I'm planning a vacation to go during the international flower & garden festival at Epcot. The dates are from March 3 to May 16. During which month and/or days would you pick to go based on crowd levels. I was thinking May would probably be less crowded

    Allie,

    You picked wisely!

The first half of May is the best time during that stretch of the Flower and Garden Festival to visit, at least in terms of crowd size. You should enjoy significantly lower crowds than just about any other time during the festival, except possibly the very first week of the event, when crowds will be at about the same level.

I also think that there is a great deal of garden activity then as well. I have actually visited in May specifically for that event, and while some topiaries and select plots had started to see the wear of the event and the arriving summer weather, I thought is was a great time. Earlier in the event I thought some things were still waiting to bloom, so I think that they have it timed that there is plenty to see during all 'seasons' of the show.

    Have a magical vacation!
