Hi! I'm planning a vacation for 5. 3 adults, and 2 children, ages (4, turning 5 during our vacation!!) and 2. Since we're going to be there to celebrate our little princess turning 5, she wants a little mermaid themed room. Can 5 sleep in that room?

Hi Tiffany!   I am so excited you are planning on spending at magical fifth birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort. I can't think of a more fun way to celebrate.   Your little princess is going to remember this trip for many years to come.

The Little Mermaid themed rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are so adorable, I can see why your daughter really has her heart set on this fun guest room.   Rooms in the Little Mermaid section of the Resort are standard rooms which contain two full size beds.   The maximum occupancy for this type of room would be four guests plus one infant under three in a pack 'n' play crib.  Since your youngest will be only 2 years-old on your trip, you certainly can reserve this room type.  It may be somewhat crowded because you will have 3 adults in your party.   Have you thought about a Family Suite?   These rooms provide 3 separate sleeping areas, 2 full bathrooms, and plenty of space to spread out.   If you reserve a Family Suite in the Lion King section of the Resort you would be just a short walk away from the Little Mermaid section, and the larger than life icons in the beautiful courtyards.

Whatever room type you choose, I know you are going to have a blast at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  It is my children's favorite Disney Resort, and I know your family will fall in love with it as well.    If you think of any other questions while planning your upcoming adventure, please let me know.  I would love to continue to help you out!
