I'm planning a trip to WDW in Febuary. We have made reservations for all of the special sitdown meals but we were wondering if we have to make reservations for breakfast - even just a quick meal? We are using the dining plan.

The answer to this depends on when in February you will be traveling, what type of food you're looking for, and whether you want to dine with the characters.

Much of February is a low crowd season, with the glaring exception of Presidents Week. If you will be at WDW Feb 14- 22, 2009, in my opinion you should make dining reservations for ANY table service restaurant you'd like to dine at, including breakfast. At other times of the month, you might have more luck as a walk-in (though there are no guarantees of course).

As far as a "quick breakfast goes," if you really do want a quick breakfast, there are counter service restaurants in all of the resorts where you can easily find a fast meal. All have basic breakfast items such as coffee, juice and pastries and most also have more substantial items such as an egg sandwich. If you don't need table service, then you'll be fine getting quick food at breakfast at your hotel. The counter service breakfast options at the park are more limited. There is substantial quick serve breakfast food at Epcot, but at the other three parks, you're mostly limited to the basics unless you dine at a table service restaurant.

Also, there are several breakfast restaurants at WDW that feature appearances by Disney characters. These are among the most popular meals at WDW. If you're interested in experiencing this, reservations are a must.

Hope you have a great trip!
