I’m planning a trip and wanted to order my tickets through sams club cause they offer a Florida resident option- we are moving to Florida before our vacation. When we get to the gate do we have to verify our address again if we already have tickets?

    Welcome to planDisney, Jordan!

What fun to be making a big move to the Sunshine State! I used to live in Florida as well, and I sorely miss the sun, the ocean, and the proximity to Walt Disney World.

Jordan, once you purchase your Florida resident ticket, you will need to activate it by bringing your ticket and proof of Florida residency to the ticket booth at the front of the theme park. Valid proof of Florida residency includes:

    • Valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
    • Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
    • Valid Florida-based military ID

If you haven't gotten your driver's license switched over by the time that you visit, you may use a number of other forms of identification, including a current mortgage.

Now, you only need to activate your ticket once, so while you need to visit the ticket booth on your first day, you can head right into the parks on the remaining days of your tickets.

I hope that this answered your question, Jordan!

    Safe travels!
