I'm planning a trip to the Sand Dollar Meet in Jan and was trying to put together the best deal. Is it best to do a package deal on the hotel website or use the discount code for park tickets and do hotel, tickets, and airfare all separate?

    Hi Christy!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm excited for you to visit Walt Disney World Resort for such a wondEARful gymnastics event at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex!

While I wish I could definitively say which would be a better rate, there are so many factors that go into it that I can't. When you purchase a package on the Walt Disney World website, they are packaging everything for you, but you aren't necessarily receiving a discount for doing so. You could receive a special promotion that they are running at a time for a given Resort that is only available as part of a package, but you may find that the discount code for park tickets is more significant. Unfortunately, there is no simple way to do this other than pricing out each option and doing the math. I'd recommend first pricing out the options individually then calling 407-939-1936 where a friendly Cast Member can price out a package for you and let you know of any promotions that are running!

Please let me know if you have any other questions before your upcoming trip.
