    I'm planning a trip to Orlando for July, I'm wondering if there is still a barber shop in Magic Kingdom that does something special for "baby's first hair-cut", and if so do you need reservations or can you pretty much walk in?

    Hi Nicole! The Harmony Barber Shop, just off of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom park, is a wonderful spot for a first haircut. The shop is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, but doesn't take reservations. Haircuts are first come, first serve, so you may want to go early as the line can get long.

    My daughter had her first haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop,and it was a magical experience! The kind barber entertained her with lots of stickers, gave her a cute hairstyle, and even sprinkled a little pixie dust on her! She received a set of Mickey ears with "First Haircut" embroidered on the back, and a bit of her hair was packaged up for us along with some pixie dust.
     
    First haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop cost approximately $18, which includes the commemorative Mickey ears.
