Hiya Amber! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear you're planning a trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth later this year! Before you know it, you'll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey pretzel in hand enjoying all the wonderful experiences that await.
Unfortunately, in order to add the
Disney Dining Plan to your stay, you will need to purchase a Disney vacation package that includes your Disney Resorts hotel reservation and ticket package. If you purchase stand-alone park tickets and opt to stay elsewhere, the Disney Dining Plan will not be available to you on this trip. Your park tickets will also need to be paid in full at the time of your purchase.
If you change your mind and decide to stay in one of the numerous
Disney Resorts hotels, the Disney Dining Plan is a great way to account for a majority of your meals before you arrive. Depending on which dining plan you choose, you'll have countless dining locations and experiences to choose from. From quick-service to table-service restaurants, there is a wide variety of different cuisines and concepts to enjoy. Many character dining experiences are also included with some of these dining options.
Even without the Disney Dining Plan, you can still plan accordingly for your meals ahead of your visit. In the past, I've researched dining locations we were planning to eat at and formulated an approximate cost for each. I then purchased
Disney Gift Cards for the amount we were expecting to spend and used them for our meals during our trip. It was a great way to budget for our stay before arriving onsite.
Amber, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
