    I'm planning a trip to DisneyWorld in Feb 2017; staying at the Art of Animation Resort and have reservations for 7:45am at Chef Mickeys. What is the best way to get there if the Disney buses don't start running until 45 mins prior to park open?

    Hi, Kathleen! Breakfast with the Fab Five is a great way to start your day. It can be tricky sometimes to get to an Advance Dining Reservation located at another Resort hotel, as the complimentary Disney transportation buses do not regularly travel hotel to hotel. However, your early breakfast at Chef Mickey's is fairly easy to manage. 

    You should see Disney buses dedicated to transporting those with early breakfast reservations arriving at your Resort hotel around one hour prior to the first breakfast reservation of the day. Be sure to check with the Concierge at Disney's Art of Animation Resort upon your check-in for that week's schedule as it does change occasionally. In our experience, we have seen the buses as early as 6:45 a.m. You will need to hop on a bus designated for Magic Kingdom Park. Upon arrival at the park, you can either transfer to the Resort monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort or use the Guest walkway to the Resort. This walk usually takes us around 10 minutes. In our experience, and this is not guaranteed, the bus driver has asked Guests during the bus ride to Magic Kingdom Park if anyone was headed to one of that area's Resort hotels. During one of our early morning trips, another family was headed to Chef Mickey's, so the bus driver kindly dropped them off directly at Disney's Contemporary Resort after our stop at Magic Kingdom Park.
